Hire options

You can hire a HiP Caravan for as long as you need. We have options for you to take the van where you like, or we can set it up for you and all you need to do is relax. 

HiP caravans offer three different hire term options (“Pick up & Go” - Long term, Short term or “Setup & Stay”)  all vans are suitable for all three hire options. Hire term is subject to availability and season.

Pick-up & Go

This popular service enables you to pick up the caravan from our centrally located office and take the van to the destination of your choice.  This service is perfect for those who are comfortable to self-drive and visit multiple destinations. 

Pack-up and head off to your nearest, most convenient, or unexplored holiday destination. Enjoy all the benefits of a well-earned break – the change will do you good!

This is a short term hire option which constitutes a minimum hire of three days through to a maximum of 21 days. Our fixed day rate applies with this option.

This service is perfect for those wishing to experience a true caravanning holiday and tow the van themselves. Pick up and go is a popular self-drive option available on all of the vans within our range which enables you to holiday at your own pace, the destinations are only limited by your imagination.  

  • Pick up available from our centrally located office.
  • Pick up time from 1pm  (unless previously organised)
  • Drop off time – ensure vans are returned by 12 noon
  • Perfect for people who are comfortable towing vans 
  • Ideal for family holidays where you are visiting more than one location
  • If you have a 4WD capable of towing caravans (please refer to towing specifications of your vehicle as the weight of the vans may influence your van selection)
  • Vans are not permitted to go in off road locations without the permission of the HiP team as outlined in the Terms and Conditions.
  • A tutorial of internal and external van operations is given when picking up the caravan.
  • A summary of set up and pack up requirements is available to refer to whilst camping.
  • Phone support available if required if difficulty is being experienced
  • Any issues with a HiP van is to be reported immediately to the HiP team

setup & Stay

This is a unique hire option to cater for those of you wanting to experience all the joys of caravanning/camping but perhaps do not have the time or inclination to participate in the preparation, tow, travel and set-up of a caravan or camper. This is caravanning made super easy.

Take advantage of this fantastic, hassle free service where the van of your choice is delivered on site and set up/ packed down for you. If your vehicles specifications are not sufficient to tow the van you would like to holiday in – No problem!  This service is for you! No confidence to tow the van? Or just running low on time? – Allow the HiP team to do all the hard work for you and all that is left is to enjoy your well-earned get away.


This amazing service includes taking care of all of your set up and pack up requirements:

  • The van of your choice delivered onto your booked site. 
  • Awning set rolled out for you, (Annex set up is available at additional fee)
  • Rubber matting rolled out for you on slab
  • 240V Power connected to the van (where applicable)
  • Pop top roof set up (on applicable vans)
  • Waste water and mains water hoses connected
  • TV ariels tuned into local channels
  • Gas bottles turned on
  • Bed ends expanded – (on Expanda Models only)

*If the toilet has been used during the hire it is required to be emptied prior to the pack up service or an additional cleaning fee will be charged.          

Long Term Hire

This service provides the ultimate in flexibility – your extended dream holiday is only a quote away….. Hire terms over 21 days are eligible for a discounted rate of hire, simply submit a quote today and make your dreams a reality. 

Typically the customer will travel further a field during this period. Your dreams of venturing to the furthest parts of the country can be realised as you glide along enjoying the feeling of luxury associated with the HiP caravanning experience.
